The gradients you managed to pull off with nothing more then a pencil is absolutely stunning. there is such a wide variety of shades here, I am simply blown away at how you did this. Impressive shading! and those feathers are beyond gorgeous.
i could just imagine this raven sitting on my shoulder; it's so realistic looking!

The head does look a little small..I think if you were to make the feathers on the back of the head and on the throat poof out more, that would make it a little more convincing. Or, if you try another raven, maybe the neck should be ever so slightly longer. This is a beautiful drawing, though, and I hope to see more wildlife art out of you.
